I immersed myself in dramatics and performing arts, completing a certificate course in Theatre from the Himachal Cultural Research Forum and Theatre Academy, Mandi. My passion for acting also led me to specialize in clowning. Beyond acting, I am an A-grade certified and trained mountaineer from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation, Delhi, having successfully summited several peaks, which reflects my adventurous spirit and dedication to mastering diverse skills.

I collaborated with institutions such as the National Museum Institute, National Gallery of Modern Art, and North Central Zone Culture Centre to create films that highlight India's intangible cultural heritage. Additionally, I have been associated with organizations like the Mental Health Foundation, Deshkal Society, and The Challenging Ones, contributing to projects that address important social issues while continuing to evolve as a filmmaker.

I believe a skilled storyteller or filmmaker always has the right eye for capturing shots. During my training in the Camera Department at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, I frequently worked as a second unit camera operator with the Director of Photography. This gave my films the advantage of capturing additional shots, adding a unique visual element and enhancing the cinematic experience.

My interest in literature, exploring the remote parts of India and the solo trips into the wilderness has honed my storytelling craft. These experiences inspire me to create narratives that captivate audiences, whether in fiction or non-fiction. I strive to keep my stories concise, engaging, and to the point, ensuring they resonate with viewers and hold their attention throughout.

After completing my mountaineering course at the prestigious Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali, where I trained in snow craft, ice craft, rock climbing, and rappelling, my love for mountains grew even stronger. This accomplishment distinguishes me as one of the few filmmakers with expertise in high-altitude filming, combined with professional filmmaking certification, enhancing my ability to capture the majesty of extreme terrains.
